Avoid using very small text. Cutting boards are subject to wear, moisture, and oil stains, which can make tiny lettering illegible over time.

If necessary, pause the machine to adjust the material or recheck the alignment. Careful monitoring at this stage guarantees a clean, professional final result.

After engraving, clean the cutting board with a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust and smoke residue. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the wood surface.
For better protection and a longer lifespan, apply a food-safe wood oil or conditioner after the board is completely dry. This helps preserve the wood grain, prevent cracking, and enhance the engraved design.

Hand wash only. Never put an engraved cutting board in the dishwasher.
Dry immediately. Prolonged moisture can raise the wood grain and dull the engraving.

Oil the board regularly. This prevents the wood from drying out and helps maintain the contrast of the design.
A CO₂ laser engraver and a diode laser engraver are recommended. A fiber laser engraver is not suitable for engraving wood.
