Hi, I’m Benjamin. With a Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering and several years of experience as a teacher for Mathematics and Computer Science at a Gymnasium, I’ve made it my mission to bring the Maker Spirit into the classroom.

I run tinkeredu.de, a platform dedicated to makers and educators. My goal is to demystify complex technology and show how digital fabrication tools can be used as powerful educational instruments. I focus on creating accessible workflows that inspire both students and hobbyists to move from being passive consumers to active creators.

In my lab, I work extensively with the
em-smart Dual 2, utilizing the versatility of its dual-source system to cover everything from industrial-grade metal marking to creative organic materials.

My workflow is built on LightBurn and Inkscape, ensuring that projects are not only technically precise but also easy to replicate for educational purposes.
